First, when applying for an education loan be sure to read all the information and make sure that you fully understand your role in the education loan.  You should contact the college or learning facility that you are interested in attending and find out what their requirements are for student aid and loans.  There may be a specific time frame needed for filing your paperwork, so make sure that you have all of those details.  Generally, the earlier you file your forms, the quicker you will hear from the appropriate party.  Don’t forget to double-check every form before you submit them. It is also recommended to make Xerox copies of your paperwork and applications before you send them in.  This way you have a personal copy for your records.
