Health Education
People who are interested in health education usually have a desire to help people. Whether they are working with patients, teaching health education students, or working in research, they all hope to some how improve the health of their fellow man.
Most states in the U.S. require that health care professionals have some type of training and many, such as pharmacists and nurses must be licensed. Health education includes many different areas. Some people are interested in the field of emotional and mental health. Careers in this area can include psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, life coach, and social worker. People who work with those that have substance abuses such as alcohol or drugs also work in the mental health field.
People interested in public health education also have many job opportunities open to them. They can choose from public health educator, certified health education specialist, management with local state and federal agencies or clinical settings, and community health educator.
Those wishing to enter the health field have a wide variety of training from which to choose. The training in some areas, such as certified nursing assistant can be complete in as little a 6 weeks while others, such as a doctor, can take many years. There are career opportunities in the health field for a chiropractic assistant, dental assistant, dietician, emergency medical technician (EMTs), home health aide, lab technician, licensed practical nurse, medical technologists, occupational therapist, nursing aide, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, phlebotomist, physical therapy, physician, surgeon, radiation therapist, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, speech therapist, and even medical transcriptionist.

education field is usually a field that is always looking for employees and often the job benefits of working for a clinic or hospital are great.
