Learn to Draw
Many of us would love to have the ability to draw or otherwise express ourselves with art. Most people just assume that it is a natural talent that you are born with. Even if you have only drawn rudimentary stick people in your past, you can train yourself and learn to draw in the process, even if you feel that you were not born with an inborn talent for drawing.
If you think of drawing as a skill that needs to be practiced to thoroughly learn it, you may have an easier time when you decide to learn to draw. Just like playing an instrument such as a guitar, drawing can be a skill you work on and refine with each lesson and each practice session. Even if you eventually decide that drawing is not for you, at least you can be proud of the fact that you put for the effort to learn to draw.
The biggest obstacle to overcome is usually your own disbelief in your ability to learn to draw. Even though many great artists were born with a gift for expressing themselves with art, many of them had to go through many learning processes to reach the pinnacle of their success. It is said that practice makes perfect, and eventually your drawing will become better, but it will take practice and time. You can learn to draw, especially if you take the time to hone your skills and master your art.
